The WILMINGTON Aluminum Door combines top-tier security, superior thermal insulation, and excellent soundproofing, making it the perfect choice for homes and businesses. Crafted from durable aluminum, the door slab is filled with a combination of PUR polyurethane foam and wood, offering a 2.1-inch thickness for enhanced durability and heat resistance.

The dual-sealing system in the frame and door slab ensures that your home stays comfortable by reducing vibrations and preventing heat loss. The seals are designed to maintain their effectiveness regardless of atmospheric conditions. Additionally, the door frame is reinforced with anti-burglar features at both the hinge and locking points, providing robust security against break-ins.

The door set includes:

  • A door and frame with two gaskets;

  • Two independent locks featuring a multi-point locking mechanism for anti-theft security;

  • Two sets of inserts with keys;

  • A standard door handle (with an optional T-bar long handle);

  • A viewfinder for solid doors;

  • Six adjustable hinges (three on each side) for anti-burglary protection;

  • An aluminum threshold with a gasket for a tight seal;

  • Three anti-theft bolts for added security.

In terms of insulation, the WILMINGTON Aluminum Door performs exceptionally well. It offers an R-Value of 5.7 for solid doors and 5.3 for glazed doors, providing excellent thermal resistance. The 31 dB acoustic insulation ensures that external noises are significantly reduced (applies to doors without glazing), and the triple glazing in glass doors enhances both soundproofing and energy efficiency.

The WILMINGTON Aluminum Door is prehung, meaning it arrives fully assembled and ready for installation, saving time and effort during setup. Available in a variety of sizes, with the option to order larger sizes through Lim or Pivot doors, it provides flexibility to suit a range of needs.

The FUSION collection features a hybrid construction with a durable aluminum frame and a stainless steel door panel. The door is insulated with foam and wood and covered in a stainless steel sheet, combining modern aesthetics with robust performance.

Glazing

The glass in our doors features triple-pane windows. All panes are connected with spacer frames. Two of them are covered with Low-E coatings that provide natural light while helping to limit heat gain and thermal energy loss. It is also possible to choose P4 anti-burglary glass or safety glass VSG 33.1.

Wala Hidden Hinges

We use Wala hidden hinges that combine high durability, numerous assembly advantages and a discreet, elegant form. Hinges are invisible when the door is closed. The 3D adjustment function provides a convenient way of adjusting the pressure, height and side adjustment (left/right) of the door. Hinges allow for trouble-free installation and removal of the door leaf/slab. Depending on the door height there are at least 3 hinges per door leaf/slab.

Roller hinges WR WALA

WR WALA are minimalistic, modern looking, high quality roller hinges. They have been tested and are certified by the German IFT ROSENHEIM. Hinges are protected by patent law and can be adjusted: vertically: -5 to 5mm / -0.2″ to 0.2″, gap: -2.5 to 2.5 mm / -0.1″ to 0.1″ , seal pressure: -1.5 to 1.5 mm / -0.05″ to 0.05″ . When it comes to finish they are available in stainless steel or any colour from the RAL palette (hinges will be painted in the same colour as the door). Depending on the door height there are at least 3 hinges per door leaf/slab.
